Gone are the days of classic Solitaire and Minesweeper games, but we still love these simple games. No newer games can replace our enthusiasm for these old games. Microsoft Windows 10 does not have these games included in the default installation packages. However, you still have the option to install these games in your system through the Microsoft Store, but the display of these games has been changed in Windows 10 and ads appear on the screen while playing. This irritates gamers, making them miss the older versions of these games. There is still a way to bring back these older versions of games in Microsoft Windows 10. Here are simple steps you can follow to easily install these best games ever in your system.
The first step is to download the Windows 7 games here to your Windows Downloads folder:

Then right-click on the downloaded zip file and choose "Extract all" to unpack the zip archive.
Extract the files to the location of your choice.
As the files are extracted, you will be able to see the following exe file Application.
Double Click on the exe file and start the installation.
Follow the Installation Wizard and make selections as required.
At this step, you will need to select the games that you want to install in your system. At this point, select Classic Solitaire, Minesweeper and any other game that you want to have in your system. Select Install.
Move forward and finalize with Finish. You are all done. The games are installed in your system.
Now select Windows icon, and move to recently added Apps. You will be able to view the selected games here.
Select any of the game of your choice. For example, Minesweeper. It has an exactly same interface like an old Windows version. Select the difficulty level as you used to do in an older version and start playing the game.
The best thing about the game is that it has no ads as in the newer version of Windows games.

You can install these games by copying the cards.dll and sol.exe files from the C:\Windows\System32 location of the older version of Windows and paste them in the newer Microsoft Windows 10 at any location. Similarly, copy relevant files of any other games from the same location of older Windows and paste in Windows 10.
